VTOL booms

Vertical TakeOff and Landing (VTOL) aviation is now taking the world by surprise and is progressing by leaps and bounds. The dream on everyone’s mind of becoming the Ironman in his jacket is becoming a reality. In a crowded city packed with people and traffic, who wouldn’t want to have the freedom of travelling anywhere anytime in a careless and yet fast way? Just imagine the time and hassle saved, let alone the excitement of riding the air with winged beings, that is enough to wow anyone, except, of course, the brained ones.

To the brainless, it is like bicycles with wings, though it would not be as economical or as physical to the brained. It is more like riding a donkey whilst abusing one’s legs which are already left jobless by cars and aircraft. Then, it is like getting into the body of a bird, though no bird would have the like of a human being as a passenger unless forced to.

The good use of it lies in the narrative, a time waster as you may call it, or a time killer as some would enjoy passing time with such sort of a device. The real use of it is uselessness, for, in a crowded city, how would ever such a thing be used by the populace without jamming the air for the birds? Working from home is the trend, and yet, the talk of such a thing is catching up in the air, albeit in reality it may be a beloved toy in a sparsely populated island or holiday resort.
